From the Principal's Desk :
"Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge, and knowledge makes you great."- Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
Education today must go beyond the traditional confines of classrooms and textbooks. It is essential to foster an environment where students can thrive not just academically, but also emotionally, socially, and morally.
The world is changing at a rapid pace, and with it, the demands on the next generation. Therefore, education should be a dynamic, ever-evolving process that equips students with the skills to think critically, adapt quickly, and approach challenges with resilience and creativity.
At Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, the focus is on a holistic approach to education that nurtures students to become well-rounded individuals. In today’s globalized and digital world, education must incorporate technology, collaboration, and innovative thinking to prepare students for the complexities of life. Yet, even as we embrace these advancements, it is crucial to remain rooted in timeless values—like humility, service, and integrity—which guide students toward becoming compassionate and responsible global citizens.
The emphasis should also be on personalized learning, where each student’s unique strengths, interests, and needs are addressed. Learning should be engaging, inquiry-driven, and connected to real-world issues, empowering students to become active participants in their communities and the world. By integrating new methodologies with the core principles of Sikh values, our goal is to produce individuals who not only succeed in life but also contribute meaningfully to the betterment of society.
